The least expensive way to get divorced in Temecula, Murrieta and the surrounding communities is to work out areas of disagreement between the parties as quickly and amicably as possible. In areas of substantial and genuine disagreement, seek the help of an experienced mediator who can help find common ground and recommend multiple solutions to any problem. In our courts, the judges aren't interested in a "winner" or "loser". Most Judges will tell you it's a fair judgment if both of you feel like you didn't get everything you wanted, but you also feel like the other party didn't either. When it comes to money and divorce, we like to use the simple example of a pie. There is one pie, one amount of money and assets that the couple are working to divide. The more you argue over things, the longer it takes and the more of that pie that will go to the attorneys. At the end of the day you're usually going to get half of the pie. if you're looking at your bill, and it's half of what your spouse paid for their attorney, you have done well - you've given away less of your half of the pie. Our office has heard from clients that when their ex-spouse found out how little they paid us (versus what the ex-spouse paid their attorney) they were upset. Our goal is to help you complete your divorce as quickly and at the most reasonable cost possible so that you can move forward with your life
